Bridge Street Stone is proud to sponsor the Pendle Triathlon Event 2007.

Triathlon is one of the fastest growing competitive sports in the country and includes 3 disciplines; swimming, cycling and running. It is a true test of stamina, strength, skill and determination.

Open to both expert and standard levels, Pendle Triathlon returns to the circuit in 2007 and promises to be a truly great event.

Organised as a time trial, competitors start at minute intervals, with a timed 10 minute gap in between each discipline. The swim is in a 25m pool. The run is mostly road running and includes 1.5km of hill.

The Event is to take place as follows:

Date: Sunday 16 September 2007.

Venue: West Craven Sports Centre, Kelbrook Road, Barnoldswick.

Standard Course: 500m Swim, 10.4km Run, 22.5km Cycle.

Elite Course: 800m Swim, 14.4km Run, 33.6km Cycle.
